Classic Tanzania Safari – 5 Days / 4 Nights

Destinations: Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Manyara

This 5-day safari gives you the chance to visit some of the most famous parks in northern Tanzania. You’ll start at Tarangire National Park, known for its elephants and big baobab trees. Then you’ll go to the Serengeti, where animals roam freely across open plains. From there, you’ll visit the Ngorongoro Crater, home to many animals in one place. Your trip ends with a visit to Lake Manyara, a small but beautiful park known for birds and tree-climbing lions.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Start your journey from Arusha in the morning and head to Tarangire National Park. Spend the day watching animals like elephants, zebras, giraffes, and lions. Later, drive to your lodge near the park for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel toward the Serengeti. Enjoy the changing landscapes along the way. Arrive in Serengeti in the afternoon and go on a short game drive. Spend the night in a camp or lodge inside the park.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti
Today is a full day of game drives in the Serengeti. Look out for animals such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest. You’ll return to your camp or lodge in the evening.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Go on a morning game drive as you leave Serengeti and head to Ngorongoro. On the way, you may spot more wildlife. Reach your lodge on the crater rim in the afternoon and relax as you prepare for the next day’s drive into the crater.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara to Arusha
Early in the morning, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. You may see lions, buffalo, hippos, and maybe even a rhino. Later, drive through the Lake Manyara area, with a short stop if time allows. Return to Arusha in the evening.
